Shipping Policy

This policy explains PMC TechLife shipping costs, processing times, delivery estimates, tracking and customs responsibilities for orders delivered within South Africa.

Shipping Cost

Shipping is included on all orders. No separate shipping fee is added at checkout.

Fulfilment Processing Time

Orders are processed in 1–3 business days before they are handed to the carrier. Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM SAST, on weekends or on public holidays begin processing on the next business day. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Fulfilment Network and Transit Time

China / Hong Kong

  • Average transit after dispatch: 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping method: The available method for your delivery address is displayed in the cart and confirmed at checkout.
  • Exact timing: Transit times vary by shipping method. The method-specific estimate shown at checkout is the estimate that applies to your order.
  • Tracking: A tracking link is sent by email after the carrier accepts the parcel.

The 5–10 business-day range is an average, not a guaranteed delivery date. Customs inspections, carrier disruptions, severe weather, public holidays and remote-area delivery may affect transit.

Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

Orders up to and including R2,000 that ship from China via YunExpress use Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so import duties and taxes are included. Aramex and DHL are not DDP. For any other shipping method, the duty status displayed at checkout applies. For orders over R2,000, or whenever the checkout method is identified as duties excluded, applicable import duties and customs-clearance fees are the customer’s responsibility.

If charges apply, the courier will contact you before final delivery. PMC TechLife does not calculate or collect customer-responsible customs charges. Refusing to pay applicable charges may delay or prevent delivery and may result in return costs.

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number. Contact us as soon as possible if an address needs to change. We cannot guarantee changes after fulfilment processing or dispatch has started.

Tracking and Delivery

Tracking can take time to update after dispatch. Carrier scans and estimated dates are controlled by the carrier. If tracking has not updated for an extended period, contact PMC TechLife so we can investigate.

Where the carrier records a parcel as delivered, customers should first check with household members, reception, security or neighbours. Report unresolved delivery issues promptly so we can open a carrier investigation.
